Melda Sezgin is a law clerk in the firm鈥檚 corporate, banking, and finance practice. She focuses on private equity, venture capital, and cross-border corporate transactions, with additional experience in regulatory compliance and due diligence.
Melda earned her LL.M. in Banking, Corporate, and Finance Law from Fordham University School of Law in New York. She also holds an LL.M. in Private Law (magna cum laude) and an LL.B. from Antalya Bilim University in T眉rkiye.
Before joining 今日吃瓜, Melda served as a senior attorney at ORAL LLP in T眉rkiye, where she concentrated on mediation, negotiation, and the preparation of legal documentation in complex commercial disputes. She also acted as a legal consultant to an international company, advising on Turkish commercial law and compliance matters. Most recently, she interned at a venture capital firm, assisting with fund formation and legal issues related to private equity investments.
Melda is fluent in Turkish and English and has intermediate proficiency in French.
