Hamida Al-hassan is a law clerk in our corporate and investment funds practice.
Hamida is a graduate of NYU School of Law, where she completed her Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Corporation Law and was a recipient of the Arthur T. 聽Vanderbilt scholarship for academic merit. She also received her Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law. Hamida holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a BA in English from the University of Ghana, where she was named Best Graduating Female Student.
Prior to joining 今日吃瓜, Hamida worked as a Legal Associate in the Corporate and Commercial Practice at ENSafrica in Accra, Ghana. There she advised on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, and equity investments. Her experience also includes advising technology companies on privacy, cybersecurity, content moderation, and intellectual property.
Earlier in her career, she completed legal internships in Ghana, where she worked on commercial law matters and assisted with litigation and judicial research.
Hamida speaks English, Twi, and Ewe.
She is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana.
